O Come O Come Emmanuel is a Latin Hymn and is commonly sung during Vespers in the final days before Christmas.
The tune was discovered in a 15th-century manuscript containing the melody in the National Library of France.
Listen to this beautiful French Carol as performed by our flautist Tresna Stampalia and harpist Catherine Ashley by clicking on our photo below.
WE HOPE YOU ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS WE ENJOY PLAYING IT!
This versatile duo combination is one of the most exquisite choices to add unique elegance to any wedding service.
Just like the skill required by a master Murano Gastaldo (Glassmakers) to shape and twist their creation into a work of art, the musicians display their many faceted talents, bringing their own intricate style to the music of Australian singer, songwriter, record producer and video music director Sia.
Pop onto our Facebook page to hear violinist James Charles, cellist Emma Vanderwal and flautist Tresna Stampalia present a stunning rendition of Chandelier by Sia beneath the exquisite chandelier in the Main Foyer of The Duxton Hotel , Perth.
Harp -Bronwyn Wallis
Flute – Tresna Stampalia
Bronwyn and Tresna recently played for the opening of the new Chapel at the Mareena Purslowe premises now situated in Townsend Road , Subiaco. The dedicated team of female funeral directors from Mareena Purslowe provide a softer, more specialised service , providing care for families in a supportive and nurturing manner. In keeping with the motto ‘A Woman’s Understanding’ Subiaco Mayor Heather Henderson was there to preside over the festivities. The team from Tres Classique performed a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria, which has a lovely melody written by the French Romantic composer Charles Gounod (arranged in 1853), elegantly superimposed over J.S Bach’s Prelude in C Major, (written 137 years earlier).
Très Classique bring their unique blend of contemporary styles and sophisticated classical technique to the ever popular Sunday Serenades at the City of Joondalup Civic Chambers. Enjoy an afternoon soiree featuring the music of Haydn, Morricone, Rutter, Villa Lobos and some surprise classics that will leave your toes tapping and your faces smiling.
From Morriconi to Vivaldi, Bocelli to Puccini, Tres Classique invite listeners to explore the pleasures of Italian life with their Tuscan flavoured selection from some of the greatest Italian composers.
Enter a wondrous musical world that will transport you to the spectacular Tuscan countryside. Imagine the faded frescos while sipping on a classic Chianti and feast on a musical journey as you gently recline on the grassed Piazza in Northbridge ……………a much cheaper option, as it is Free! Prego!
Tres Classique transported the Duxton Bridal Expo patrons and staff to Middle Earth with this hauntingly beautiful interpretation of the Theme music from the movie of the Lord of the Rings, composed by Howard Shore. Our performance of this music was made possible by our Harpist Bronwyn Wallis, who created this transcription for the Quartet, capturing the lilting celtic style that makes it immediately recognisable.
Tres Classique nearly stole the show when they played for a corporate clientele for the launch of a high tech Hearing Apparatus and what better way to test its discerning frequencies than with live classical music.
Can you pick where the ensemble is performing? The Wall behind is a hint? Yes, it is the Aviary , a very unique venue in the heart of Perth, offering an amazing ‘birds eye’ view over the Perth CBD. Of course the repertoire for the evening included ‘The Aviary from The Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint Saens, ‘Flight of the Bumble Bee’ by Rimsky-Korsakov and ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles.
