Flute & Harp Wedding Duo

O Come O Come Emmanuel  is a Latin Hymn and is commonly sung during Vespers in the final days before Christmas.

The tune was discovered in a 15th-century manuscript containing the melody in the National Library of France.

A Woman’s Understanding- Mareena Purslowe Chapel Opening

Bronwyn and Tresna recently played for the opening of the new Chapel at the Mareena Purslowe premises now situated in Townsend Road , Subiaco. The dedicated team of female funeral directors from Mareena Purslowe provide a softer, more specialised service , providing care for families in a supportive and nurturing manner. In keeping with the motto ‘A Woman’s Understanding’  Subiaco Mayor Heather Henderson was there to preside over the festivities. The team from Tres Classique  performed a beautiful rendition of Ave Maria, which has a  lovely  melody written by the French Romantic composer Charles Gounod (arranged in 1853),  elegantly superimposed over J.S Bach’s Prelude in C Major, (written 137 years earlier).

Middle Earth Music

Tres Classique transported the Duxton Bridal Expo patrons and staff to Middle Earth with this hauntingly beautiful interpretation of the Theme music from the movie of the Lord of the Rings, composed by Howard Shore. Our performance of this music was made possible by our Harpist Bronwyn Wallis, who created this transcription  for the Quartet, capturing the lilting celtic style that makes it immediately recognisable.

Tresclassique Classical Music -AvairyTres Classique nearly stole the show when they played for a corporate clientele for the launch of a high tech Hearing Apparatus and what better way to test its discerning frequencies than with live classical music.

Can you pick where the ensemble is performing? The Wall behind is a hint? Yes, it is the Aviary , a very unique venue in the heart of Perth, offering an amazing ‘birds eye’ view over the Perth CBD.  Of course the repertoire for the evening included ‘The Aviary from The Carnival of the Animals’ by Saint Saens, ‘Flight of the Bumble Bee’ by Rimsky-Korsakov and ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles.

Corporate Background Music Aced

Tres Classique provided guests with seamless, refreshing, corporate background music.  The flute and harp duo (pictured below) performed for an exclusive event at the newly renamed Crown (formerly Burswood Entertainment Complex). Providing some beautiful background music in the Botanical Room, where guests experienced Texas Hold ‘Em Poker’ with some of the Casino’s best Croupiers.

This was a great networking idea full of fun, communication and fine food and was a wonderful opportunity for the interstate and international delegates who attended the ARRB Conference hosted in Perth this year to test their strategies.
